Dan Carr

Dan Carr is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lug+Carrie.

Recently identified as the largest subscription fleet of eCargo bikes globally, Lug+Carrie’s bikes, fleet management platform and behaviour change programs make e-bikes accessible and viable as everyday transport.

Before founding Lug+Carrie with his brother Ben, Dan led the Small Business Lending and Equipment Finance division of the National Australia Bank. Being a member of the banks Climate Change Working Group he was working on ways to stimulate the adoption of low emission technologies by NAB’s customers.

As a bike commuter and the father of two young kids, after trying a Tern GSD eCargo bike, Dan was convinced of the transformative potential of the eCargo bike. Since then, Dan and Ben have been building out as many ways as they can to remove the barriers to adoption for eBikes to replace cars as mainstream transport
