Oliver Bruce
Oliver Bruce is one of the earliest pioneers and visionaries in micromobility.
The NZ native has a global presence in the industry. He hosts the Micromobility Conference and Podcast, both co-founded with the inventor of the term micromobility, Horace Dediu. The podcast covers the rise of lightweight electric bikes and the 145+ episodes have been downloaded a total of more than one million times.
Oliver is an angel climate-tech investor with Uush Capital and holds investments/advisory roles in Bo Mobility, Nimbus, Weel and several other micromobility firms.
He has also advised the New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) on micromobility adoption pathways, runs the popular Urbanerds community in NZ and was one of the originators of the Quarter-Hour Paradise concept. He has a BA degree in Human Ecology (Economics, Ecology, Politics) from College of the Atlantic.
